A Note to our Customers:

We have never had an event like the Bill Clinton signing. It was both exhilarating and frustrating. Most of you who were there got to meet him and have your book signed. Some did not.

Immediately after the event, we contacted the publisher to see if we could get signed books. Today, July 9th, we were told by the publisher that they may have signed bookplates for us. We will know sometime next week.

In addition, we contacted President Clinton’s office and were told that they would seriously consider our request to ship books to his office for his signature. However, we also were told that, because of his schedule, he is not expected back for about 2 ½ months. Again, we expect to hear shortly whether they will accommodate us.

If you are a customer who attended the Bill Clinton book signing on July 1, 2004, and you did not get your copy of My Life signed, may we suggest the following:

• Please keep your ticket to the event. Do NOT tear your ticket.
• Keep your copy of the book and your receipt.

We can NOT make any guarantees, but we will try to get a signature for every ticketed customer that was unable to obtain one on the day of the event.
